A Nook for Rug Hooking Patterns, Classes and Creative Ideas

I have recently been diagnosed with a wool allergy and will be limiting my teaching schedule.  Although I am very disappointed not to be able to work around wool, I am having fun exploring other fibers to hook.   Stay Tuned for some new fibers and kits.

Ten years ago I started my furniture painting business named Fancy Legs Folk Art. Lots has changed in a decade. I started out spending many solitary hours in my studio painting furniture with ornately turned legs an array of whimsical colors.  Now most of my time I am teaching rug hooking, drawing patterns, making kits and inspiring others to embrace their own creativity.  This year I am updating my business name to:

Kim Kaelin takes hooked rugs off the floor and transforms them into functional pieces of art. Come explore her Fancy This Folk Art patterns, footstool rug hooking kit, rug hooking classes and more.
